Sulfur dyes are simply sulfur-containing dyes, which are sulfur-containing dyes formed through certain vulcanization. During dyeing, the dyeing machine can dissolve the sulfide in some ways and finally complete the dyeing. The cost of sulphur dyes is relatively low, and after dyeing with sulphur dyes, the product will have the characteristics of washing and light fastness, and therefore it is widely used in the dyeing industry.

Sulfur dye itself is insoluble in water, but it can be reduced by alkali sulfide, and finally a salt substance will be obtained and dissolved in water. This liquid has a strong effect on fibers and other items, so the fiber can easily absorb After absorption, the dye will be converted into a water-insoluble state through oxidation, and it will be deposited on the fiber at this time.
In the dyeing process, alkali sulfide can be used as both a reducing agent and an alkali agent.

To ensure that the alkali sulfide can be fully utilized, not only the temperature needs to be increased, but also some baking soda can be added in an appropriate amount, but the amount should not be too much, otherwise it will cause uneven dyeing.

In the process of dyeing with sulfur dyes, soda ash can also be used to adjust the pH value, because alkaline substances can promote the dissolution rate of the dye, and at the same time, it can soften the water to a certain extent. At the same time, you can add an appropriate amount of small Soda, its main purpose is to promote the decomposition rate of alkali sulfide, so that the reduction of alkali sulfide comes faster.

In the dyeing process, the amount of alkali sulfide used should also be selected according to different dyes. In general, the amount used should be 20%-99% of the dye. The temperature can be adjusted higher when dyeing, so that better dyeing effect can be obtained.
